TetterGirls Perseverance Scholarship

At the TetterGirls Foundation, we believe that education is key to expanding opportunity and strengthening communities.  The Perseverance Scholarship identifies women of color who are working towards a goal rooted in the TetterGirls core values of educating, uplifting and inspiring, and rewards them with a cash gift to help them reach that goal.   We hope to help remove financial barriers so they can continue the work of healing, advocacy, and leadership in the communities that need it most.

2026: Mental Health Undergraduates

The TetterGirls are thrilled to announce our inaugural Perseverance Scholarship! Our Fall 2026 scholarship will award $1,500 to an undergraduate student working towards a degree in a mental health discipline. We believe that mental health awareness has gone neglected and undervalued in our communities for far too long, and at a great cost. That’s why we are uplifting the women who are taking action to bring mental health to their communities and the world.
