TetterGirls Foundation creates real pathways for women of color to thrive—at home, in school, in business, and in service to their communities.
We do this through education, mentorship, wellness, and partnerships that uplift their leadership.
Whether she’s launching a business, earning a degree, or running a nonprofit, we offer scholarships, volunteer support, and visibility to help her rise and lead boldly.
Across the country, many families are led by women balancing work, caregiving, community leadership, and personal ambition — often all at once. In Black and Latina households especially, women are frequently the backbone of their families and neighborhoods.
Behind many thriving communities is a woman who made sure everyone else could stand.
These realities speak not to weakness, but to extraordinary strength. Yet strength alone shouldn’t be the requirement for survival.
TetterGirls Foundation exists to ensure that resilience is met with resources, leadership is met with opportunity, and women who carry so much are supported in building lives that flourish — not just endure.
From college degrees to career certifications, we create access to learning pathways that open doors and build long-term economic strength. Education is not just advancement — it is stability, leadership, and generational progress.
Mental, physical, and emotional wellness are not luxuries — they are foundations for lasting transformation. When women are supported in their health, families stabilize, leadership strengthens, and communities thrive.
We ensure women of color are seen, heard, and represented — in everyday spaces and in rooms where decisions shape opportunity and access. Community engagement and civic visibility turn lived experience into influence.
Shared wisdom and community guidance shape confident, prepared leaders. We invest in women already leading — through service, entrepreneurship, education, and advocacy — expanding their reach and strengthening the ecosystems around them.
