Our Mission
TetterGirls Foundation creates real pathways for women of color to thrive—at home, in school, in business, and in service to their communities.
We do this through education, mentorship, wellness, and partnerships that uplift their leadership.
Whether she’s launching a business, earning a degree, or running a nonprofit, we offer scholarships, volunteer support, and visibility to help her rise and lead boldly.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Across the country, many families are led by women balancing work, caregiving, community leadership, and personal ambition — often all at once. In Black and Latina households especially, women are frequently the backbone of their families and neighborhoods.
Behind many thriving communities is a woman who made sure everyone else could stand.
These realities speak not to weakness, but to extraordinary strength. Yet strength alone shouldn’t be the requirement for survival.
TetterGirls Foundation exists to ensure that resilience is met with resources, leadership is met with opportunity, and women who carry so much are supported in building lives that flourish — not just endure.
