Barbara Tetter, one of the original Tetter Girls, started a Boy Scout troop to give young boys in her neighborhood purpose and protection. Later, she became PTA president to ensure Black and Brown schools received equal support.
Her story isn’t history—it’s fuel.
TetterGirls Foundation continues this legacy by uplifting women of color through education, mentorship, wellness, and advocacy.
